A staged reading about old age. It features poetry, elegies and short monologues of famous and not so famous people telling just what it is like to be old. Selections are from Lewis Carroll, William Shakespeare, Dorothy Parker, Robinson Jeffers, and even Bette Davis. Sometimes old age is happy and lyrical, sometimes not. But this show, read by three versatile actors and narrated by playwright Carol Marquart, will seem like fun!
Carol Marquart  has written and produced staged readings of famous and infamous persons of the twentieth century. The subjects of her plays have included Carol Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Frank Lloyd Wright, Julia Child, Bette Davis, William Randolph Hearst and even Rasputin!
