MPC Theatre Returns!

Monterey Peninsula College’s Theatre Arts program is back in full force! With a variety of course offerings and live performances, the MPC Theatre Arts program provides young people and community members with opportunities to learn about the craft of theatre and its many disciplines. The 2023-2024 academic year brought back production work to the Morgan Stock Stage for the first time since 2019, under the direction of new Department Chair, Todd Siff. In this talk, Professor Siff will discuss the department’s goals for the future, the 2024-2025 Season of Productions, and the theatre industry.

Todd Siff is the current MPC Theatre Arts Department Chair. He is an actor, director, playwright, and musician from Miami, FL. He recently directed Willy Wonka The Musical for MPC Theatre Arts in Spring 2024. Professor Siff taught at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and Florida Gateway College before his arrival at MPC in 2023.
